Our charges are comparable to those of other mental health counselors in the area. Each session will be approximately 50 minutes (insurance dependent). Testing sessions take longer. We will bill insurance companies, as contracts require. If your therapist is not contracted with your insurance company, we will attempt to get reimbursement for the "out of network" provider rate and you will be responsible for the balance. If you do not have "out of network" coverage and we are not contracted with your insurance company, please speak to your therapist to make arrangements. We will do our best to partner you with both the therapist that best meets your needs and is contracted with your insurance. However, it is ultimately your responsibility to know your insurance benefits.   

Fees differ based on the type of service (testing verses individual or couples coupling) and your therapists experience and credentials. However, the initial assessment for Timothy is $200 and $140 for subsequent sessions. Consults are offered for those that want to meet with the therapist before agreeing to anything. These include no commitment and no charge. If you decide to become a client, your consult will be billed at the rate of a regular session or half the rate, depending on the length of the session. Telephone calls lasting more than 5 minutes are billed at a pro-rated basis in 15 minute increments ($15/15 minutes). Sessions missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be billed at $60. Exceptions are made for illness or emergencies. It's important to note that insurance does not cover missed sessions.
